Sonnenger is a Toronto-based gear workshop specializing in the design of functional textile-based products for outdoor industrial environments.

Founded by a team of intrepid product designers with decades of combined experience in the design and production of outdoor gear, Sonnenger is on a mission to catalyze the next wave of innovative high-performance products for workers in the field. 

 

Our first range of portable protective visors, named the Weatherhead, are designed to tackle the challenges of working outdoors, be it unpredictable weather or the scorching heat.  

 

We developed the Weatherhead series on the notion that in the face of changing global climate patterns, we can be proactive about regulating our personal climate as we experience the outdoors.

 

For workers, the products we design take on a higher level of importance, as personal climate control becomes a means to enhanced comfort, productivity and safety.
